question #5

What must someones GPA be to get into a auto mechanic university? Everything depends on which university someone is going to. An example is the Lewis-Clark state college. They need "A minimum of four, one-year scholarships are available for students attending LCSC. Student must be an incoming freshman. Students must have a cumulative GPA of 2.5. Preference will be given to students majoring in one of the following approved fields of study. Automated Manufacturing Technology; Engineering Technology; Heating, Air Conditioning and Appliance Technology; Industrial Electronics Technology or Welding Technology. The amount of the award is variable. A General Application is required and must be submitted by March 1." They must also have 12 credits and be a full time student."To qualify for admission, an individual must: • Have a high school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent • Meet with a representative of ITT Tech • Pass an admissions test or have an acceptable score on ACT or SAT taken in the last five years or have earned either 36 quarter credit hours (or 24 semester or trimester credit hours) with an overall cumulative grade point average of 2.0 on a 4.0 grading scale from an accredited educational institution." It's almost the same for every university for someone to get in the lowest GPA someone could have is a 2.0 in a 4.0 scale. source http://degreedirectory.org/articles/What_Topics_Do_Auto_Mechanic_Courses_Typically_Cover.html http://education-portal.com/auto_mechanic.html http://www.lcsc.edu/financialaid/scholarships-prof-tech.htm http://www2.itt-tech.edu/admissions/
